No-red-eye Jake:
Jake has stunning blue eyes, sort of odd for a grown cat who isn't Siamese or Himalayan. Instead of the green glinting off his eyes in the dark, you catch this eerie red glow. I did a literal pixal-by-pixel retouch to keep the highlights.

Taking pictures of cats can be so challenging. I tried to get decent phots of ours for both last year's and this year's holiday card. I haven't posted any as part of project 365 yet. I expect they will make many appearances over the year.
He is beautiful! What a gorgeous cat. I find it very hard to take the red eyes (or yellow, as I often get) out of the pictures. You sure did a great job on this one.
